1st Day of Kindergarten for Brianna

Brianna's First Day of Kindergarten!  She was super excited and had a great day!  She is so ready for this year! 

By the time I finished all the paperwork the school needed she was hard at work:)  When I picked her up she could not stop talking about when she was going back, what she did, and how much she liked her teacher:) 

Thank you Lord for a great first day.  We pray for many more fun days:)

Roasting Marshmallows

The kids wanted to roast marshmallows so bad to make S'mores!  We used the vacant lot beside our house to make a campfire!!  We invited the neighbors, The Henderson's, to come out and join us!  All the kids had a blast!

Brianna's Bowling Adventure

Brianna is starting Kindergarten tomorrow!  I can not believe both of my children will be in school.  Brianna is very excited about this new adventure in her life.  She has lots of questions about her lunch, the playground, and going to the carpool line.  We have been praying that everything will go smoothly.  She goes tomorrow Monday 9-2 then starting Thursday full days!  We wanted to do something special to celebrate this change so she decided to go bowling!!!  She took her best friend JD, who is our neighbor, and they had a blast.

While we were at the bowling alley I told Brianna she was doing a great job listening and obeying.  I told her Jesus was happy she was obeying His Word by listening to me.  She told me Jesus was up there saying to her "Go Brianna Go, Go Brianna Go"!  I started laughing b/c she is so cute and told her Jesus was her #1 fan!!!! 

They played two games and loved every minute of it!

Brianna,  We pray for you daily.  We pray this new adventure in your life, Kindergarten, is a great year!  We pray you come to know Jesus at a early age.  We pray you would understand how much we love you and how much Jesus loves you.  We hope you make many friends.  We love you very much!  Daddy and Mommy

Hunter's 10th Brithday and starting 4th grade!

Hunter turned 10 years old on August 13, 2011.  We have enjoyed watching him grow into the two digit numbers!  He is becoming a wonderful young man!  Every year it has been a passion of mine to have a special birthday cake.  This year Hunter wanted a Lego cake.  Our neighbor, one of Hunter's best friends, was having his birthday on August 14, 2011 so we decided to do a joint party!!  It was so fun!  We had planned a pool party but God had other plans!  Everything works out in the end!  Let go and let God!

I love getting this kind of reaction!  He almost cried!  He is a good kid!

First day of 4th grade.....We are so proud of Hunter!  We pray that this school year will be a growing time.  We pray Hunter learns to enjoy school and reading.  We had a great summer and are ready for whatever the school year brings us!
